Beauty Products That Smell Awesome

Two of my favourite things in the world are beauty products and things that smell nice so when the two are combined I'm in my own idea of heaven. Fragrance isn't a necessity in a lot of beauty products and it can be something that can be quite irritating to quite a lot of peoples skin but it's not something I've ever had a problem with and here are some of my favourites:

I wasn't blown away by the Bumble and Bumble Invisible Oil* range overall but one thing I can't get enough of is the scent. It's ever so slightly masculine which is something I find really nice in my hair, think of the original Moroccan Oil scent. Although it only lingers in the hair ever so slightly it is still detectable and who doesn't want their hair to smell great? Speaking on scents that linger the bath and shower oils from Neom* are absolutely fantastic for filling the room full of the most decadent scents I've ever known. As we're in the colder months in England now I've been pouring an oil in my bath every time I have one and they leave my skin buttery soft and smelling like I've spent the afternoon in a spa.

Throughout my skincare routine I don't like to use anything too overpowering. It's just not necessary I mean who really gets close enough to my face to smell it apart from my boyfriend or my dog. However I do like something with a little bit of something to do it as I find it makes applying it just that little more luxurious. Camomile has quickly become one of my favourite ingredients in my products in my routine and particularly in winter I love The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter. There is just something so relaxing about the scent that it makes my cleansing routine practically spa worthy. The Origins Make a Difference line is one of my favourites from the line but the scent in particularly is dreamy, it's just so fresh which makes application a dream. Whenever my peepers are looking a little worse for wear in a morning I always reach for the Liz Earle Eye Bright*, like most things from the brand it smells amazing and it's something I've learnt to associate with relaxing. It removes any scraps of mascara that has been left behind and just really wake up tired eyes.

Bourjois in general have seem to have this whole sweet scent thing down but two of my favourites are the Java Rice Powder and the Healthy Mix Concealer. The powder has a really old fashioned fragrance which isn't something I usually love in my beauty products but in this powder it just works. The concealer smells like raspberries which really helps waking you up when applying it, goes hand in hand with it's anti fatigue promises. Everyone likes a good smelling lip product and a couple that definitely don't disappoint are the Revlon Colour Burst Matte Balms and the Clarins Lip Crayons*. The Revlon have a fresh peppermint scent which is really refreshing and almost cooling to apply on the lips. The Clarins has an even better vanilla scent than even my beloved MAC lipsticks, it makes it almost impossible not to want to eat them.
