Current Beauty & Lifestyle Favourites

I stopped doing monthly favourite posts a long time ago as I simply don't try enough new things to warrant them. Since I stopped doing them I don't get much of a chance to simply round up what I'm loving at the moment but right now there are a few things that I just can't get enough of and here they are.

Rifle Paper Co & Puffin Collaboration: My dad bought me Little Women for Christmas and ever since I've been aching to complete the collection. They're so beautifully illustrated that they are a complete collectors item and I cannot wait to pass them down to my children one day as they are classic stories.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream*: I've not used a new perfume in a long time and it takes a lot for me to stray from my beloved Jo Malone scents. That being said I've always had a soft spot for Marc Jacob fragrances, the original Daisy scent is one of my all time favourites. Daisy Dream* is such a pretty scent, it's sweet without being overpowering and sickly.

Fresh flowers: I stopped buying fresh flowers a long time ago because it was an un-necessary expense on my bank balance. However I picked up two reduced bunches of carnations for 45p and they've been really brightening up my room, I forgot how nice it was to have flowers scattered around my room.

Benefit Roller Lash: This was a freebie in this months Elle magazine and I was super excited to give it a try. Whilst I did like They're Real it was such a pain in the bum to remove that it put me off buying it, this however I think I will be buying this in full size because I love the way it makes my lashes look. It delivers in volume (not loads), length, curl, doesn't smudge and is easily removed, basically everything I want in a mascara.

Latest In Beauty Box*: I've never taken the plunge and subscribed to a beauty box, but this box from Latest In Beauty* is fantastic for the money. They've teamed up with Get The Gloss to create a beauty insiders kit and it's an awesome roundup of products. There isn't anything in this box that I wouldn't use and by favourites so far have been the Laura Mercier Primer*, Essie Nail polishes*, Glamglow Mud Mask* and the Therapie Skin Serum*.

Parks & Recreation: As this is currently in its final season I decided to start from the beginning again and I forgot just how much I loved this show. It reminds me of The Office in a lot of ways, but I absolutely adore the characters and their stories. Ron Swanson is my dream man as well as Andy Dwyer stealing my heart in the later seasons and lets not even discuss my love from April Ludgate.

The Body Shop Drops Of Youth Sleepy Bounce Mask*: When I saw this release I was so intrigued by it, the texture is so odd, it wobbles around, sort of like jelly. I'm always a little wary of overnight masks being too heavy on my skin and it breaking me out but I'm so happy that this just leaves me beautifully hydrated skin without making a mess on my pillow cases either. The amount you need compared to how much is in the pot means that this mask will last you years, pricey for The Body Shop but totally worth it in my opinion.

Paperchase Postcards: I've got two gallery walls in my room, one above my bed and one above my desk so I'm always on the hunt for cute artwork to switch things up. I love browsing Paperchase for postcards and at 60p a pop it's a great way to spruce your space without harming your bank balance.
