3 Daily Staples

My full face of makeup wearing days are few and far between at the moment, mostly out of laziness, but also because I'm trying to let my skin breathe as much as possible. There are three products that I've been using on an almost daily basis though when I don't fancy buffing and blending away for twenty minutes in the morning. They're a dreamy little trio when used in combination together so let me tell you a little more about them.

Dr Jart Water Fuse BB Cream: This is an oldie, but a goodie. I don't get enough use out of this base as it leans a little dark on my pale complexion for the majority of the year but when we do match we're good together. The water fuse technology works like a dream on oily skin as it hydrates but doesn't give the undesirable sweat-effect. By far my favourite thing about this is its ability to conceal redness without layering on heavy concealer. Definitely a BB cream to check out if you're in the market for a new one.

Stila Convertible Colour 'Lilium': Every time I use this blush I fall even more in love with it. The consistency is like nothing else I've tried, it adds life to the cheeks but isn't too dewy or even worse sticky. You only need a small amount and applied with the Real Techniques Stippling Blush they're a match made in heaven. The shade Lilium is my perfect pink, it's not too blue and not too yellow, it's just right.

Yves Rocher Volume Vertige Mascara*: This has been going a little unloved in my collection as I can never stay faithful to just one mascara. Although the brush is a little bigger than I would like I would the formula and the results I get from this. It lifts from root to tip without clumping or sticking your lashes together, it holds a curl and is easy to remove. Everything you could want in a mascara really and on the days I've been making more of an effort I've been pairing it with Benefit Roller Lash which gives me, dare I say it the perfect lashes?
