Why I Love Being A Little Bit Of A Loner

Even though I’ve written about loneliness so many times I still feel that edge of uncertainty about it. It’s still a word that has such negative connotations and try as I might there are just some mindsets that are harder to break than others. The reason why this post came into my head is because my boyfriend has gone back to touring and apart from a few days since August it’s just been me and the whippies. And to be honest, I’ve absolutely loved it and it made me realise just how much of a lone wolf I am and why it’s not a weird thing to be so happy in your own company.

Skincare That Makes Me Dare To Bare | Ad

-this post is in conjunction with Boots but all thoughts are my own-

Everything I've Bought Lately That Was Worth The Money

In a somewhat recent blog post, I said I wanted to start sharing the things that I buy in the month as I love sharing little wish lists but more often than not I don’t buy everything that’s on it. I’m always trying to cut back on what I’m buying and I only want to purchase things that I ever need and I know will last as fast fashion is such a huge problem. And I think by sharing what I’m purchasing it makes me far more accountable as well as getting the chance to share some things that are very much worth the money if you're in the market for them.

A Little Bedroom Re-Arrange For Autumn

- post in collaboration with Juniqe -

I’ve been meaning to rejig our bedroom for months and I’ve made little changes here and there but last week with the push of having some new prints to hang I finally set aside an evening to switch things up. Whilst the current set up worked for us and didn’t look terrible I knew it could look better and I’m so pleased with how it looks now and I’ve managed to tackle all the clutter that was hanging around which is a relief. It’s quite a large space but something I struggle to work around is the boarded up fireplace which I so desperately wish hadn’t been boxed up as it could have made a wonderful feature. Anyway, here are the small changes that I’ve made and the difference that it’s made.

Things To Read & Listen To If You're Feeling Down About The Online World

I can’t deny that this year has felt a little difficult in the online world. So often everything seems so far gone from what made it so popular and I have to admit I have floundered and panicked this year. 7 Things For October

So September went by in the blink of an eye and this morning we welcome October. As a long time, cold weather hater nearly every single year I’ve dreaded the arrival of A/W but this year feels different, I’m so excited to see the seasons change and I’m far too excited about pulling on my new knitwear. I’ve got a few things that I want to achieve this October and here are seven of them.

Mastering The Beachy Wave

Typically the topic of beauty is reserved for the week over on this part of the internet but after getting a flurry of questions in my DM’s about my hair. I thought I’d do a little bit of an update as my hair has certainly changed a lot over the past few months. Going gradually lighter and lighter has meant that I’ve needed up my haircare game as well as continue to work on mastering the beachy wave and I think I’m finally there, well for now anyway…

Something To Get You In The Autumn Spirit

Something that I get maybe a little too much joy from is dressing my tech for the season. I always have, it started with getting different cases from car boot sales for my Nokia 3310 and nowadays it’s painstakingly picking a home screen for my iPhone. So I thought today I would give you my favourite autumnal images for you to use for your tech as it was such a hit on my Instagram stories the other day.

The Worriers Guide To Living In The Moment

A few days ago over on my Instagram, I asked if there was anything specific you’d like to see on the blog and this idea came into my inbox. Fears I'm Trying To Face In The Rest Of 2018

Ironically, out of everything that I share on this blog talking about my fears is something that scares me the most.
