My Top 4 Skincare Brands
My skincare tastes have come a long way since the days where I just used to cheap face-wipes, much to my bank accounts dismay. I'm a big believer that spending a little more on your skincare is more important than investing in beauty products. Makeup is only temporary, but the skin you have is forever so it's important to take good care of it. After years of trial and error with brands, I've rounded up my top 4 to share with you today.
My first foray into the world of 'real' skincare was Liz Earle. Their Cleanse & Polish is still one of my staple skincare items to date and they are a brand I know I can trust. I love that the ethos behind the brand is to create high-quality skincare. That feels soothing and pampering without having a hefty price tag to go along side of it. It's a great brand for beginners as their products are super easy to understand and how they could benefit your skin.
Possibly my all time favourite skin care brand is Origins. There is only one product out of everything I've used that I've not got a long with and I've tried a lot. As they split their products into skincare concerns it makes it easy to find something that might work for you. Of course, you can also mix and match to help tackle different areas of skincare concerns. They also have an awesome beauty range, the cream eyeshadows and blushes are particulary pretty.
THE BODY SHOP
Whenever I used to go into a Body Shop store I dismissed the skincare and went straight for the body products. Turns out I'd been missing out on a lot of awesome products by doing this. Personally, I think the brand are a little bit of a dark horse as their products are incredible and always have a reasonable price tag attached to them. Thanks to the blogging world they've had a little more light shone on them in the past few years.
An Australian based brand that prides themselves on using natural ingredients. Their ethos when creating a skincare line was to create pure, but powerful products. And, they've done just that. Whenever I pick up something from Jurlique I always feel like I'm getting a totally unique item that I couldn't get from another brand. Which of course always makes me come back for more as I've always had such good experiences with their products. And, I'm a complete sucker for beauty products in metal tubes.
