A nail polish a day

Everybody has been going stir crazy for these polishes lately so naturally like the weak willed nail polish obsessive I am I just had to pick some up. My excuse is they were on 3 for 2 and at only £4.49 each it worked out just £1 than one Essie nail polish and we all know those white topped polishes are my absolute vice.

Now onto these beauties I picked up the shades 'Punk Rock', 'Barmy Blue' and 'Hip Hop'. I actually haven't got anything similar to any of these shades and yes I could have gone towards my normal pastel hues but I needed something different. These polishes claim to have the lasting power of 10 days and I am up to day 5 of my manicure using the shade 'Hip Hop' and so far so good minimal chipping. The formula of these is highly pigmented and pretty much opaque within one coat but I do 2-3 just for good measure and then a layer of Seche Vite to add that gel like finish. For the money these are absolutely brilliant but there isn't a really wide colour range so for that Essie still steals my heart but these are definitely going to have a firm place in my nail polish stash. My favourite from the three I picked up is definitely 'Hip Hop' its a beautiful orangey red and if the rumours are true its a dupe for the ever coveted shade from Chanel 'Holiday'.

So have you tried these polishes from Rimmel yet?
