The Battle Of The Dry Shampoos

Washing my hair is something that I have a love-hate relationship with. I love how my hair feels when it's all clean and mentally, it lifts my mood a lot which is not something I ever expected from a simple hair wash. But I also hate washing my hair, even though I know how good it feels I can never quite muster up the energy for it and obviously, daily washing is not the best thing to do for your tresses. So this is where the dry shampoos come in, I depend on them all the time to help my hair feel clean without having to go to trouble of actually stepping in the shower. I've tried so many over the years, some good and some absolutely terrible and here are the ones that I've currently got on the go.

Everything I Wish I Could Tell My 18 Year Old Self

Earlier in the year, I turned 28. Now, I may not feel like I'm at that point in my life but here I am and there is one thing for certain and that is I'm far more secure in myself than ever before. Although it's all just part of growing up and getting older I really do wish that I could go back to 18-year-old Rebecca and tell her a few things that would have probably made her early adult years way easier to handle. A Lightweight But Full Coverage Base To See You Through Summer

When it comes to foundations I am a sucker for a full coverage base. Although some might say that my skin doesn't require that much coverage but I feel comforted knowing that my skin looks absolutely flawless and is completely uniform. Tinted moisturisers and BB creams typically aren't my thing due to my deep love for anything full coverage. But there are a couple in my stash that I know I can depend on to give me the coverage I need but maintain that lightweight nourishing feeling. I've been using a duo that was used on me during a meeting with the brand a year or so ago and completely fallen in love with it again and it's become my warmer weather staple. Please tell me rain is on the way soon though?

Why I Loved Having A Long Distance Relationship

The topic of a long distance relationship is usually always met with the same response, an eye roll, and a scoff. And I was probably once one of those sceptics but it wasn't until my boyfriend started solidly working as a touring musician four years ago did I realise that they could be a blessing. There are so many different dynamics to have in a relationship and it's all about what works for that couple and not what is a standard in society. So to shed some light on why a LDR can be such a good thing and why I loved mine so much here is today's post.

My Top 6 Homeware Buys

Why I'm Working Seasonally This Year

We've all probably heard of the term eating seasonally but what about working seasonally? Not something I'd ever heard all that much about until a few years ago and it's still not something that I've found is discussed enough but it's something that makes so much sense. We're still in the midst of a blazing heatwave in the UK or at this point do I just consider this summer? And it's had a serious knock-on effect with my motivation and I've completely changed my work day around the weather. Which of course, is something you generally only can do when you have complete control of your schedule. So today I want to talk to you about why working seasonally can be a really good thing and how to still tick off your to-do list when your brain feels frazzled from the sunshine.
