A few of my favourite things in...June

L-R Bourjois magic nail polish remover, Jo Malone perfume, Natural Collection eyeshadow, Body Shop almond body butter, Essie nail polish in 'Absolutely shore' and 'Figi' Liz Earle Skin Repair light, Mac Studio Sculpt and Natural Collection blush.

So I thought I would do a favourites for the month of June as I had an awesome month and here are some of the products I loved. First off is the Bourjois Paris 1 second nail polish remover, now as a person who likes to change her nail polish quite frequently this has literally been a wonder product for me. Even though I did own something similar before but this just beats it hands down as it smells amazing and leaves your nails really well nourished. Next up is the Jo Malone perfume in White Jasmine & Mint oh this just smells amazing and I have entire post on it here. I am currently really into body products now a year ago I did not care at all about body products at all but I think from around Christmas time I made a promise to myself to moisturise every single night after I showered and I can happily say I am still doing this. So my moisturiser of choice that I have loved in June is the Body Shop body butter in Almond and oh my god this smells amazing! I feel like it makes me smell like a batten burg cake and I always say to Sam that I smell like a cake and I think he likes that too. Finally I have switched back to the Liz Earle skin repair moisturiser now if you read my skincare routine you will know that I was using the Re-Gen cream but I found it was weighing my skin down as I had used so much. Now don't get me wrong I love that cream and it has drastically reduced the redness of my scars and healed them slightly but I just needed something lighter and I love the Liz Earle moisturiser.

Now onto some make up products and there are two bits of from Natural Collection now I am a really big fan of Natural Collection and these are just two products I am trying to use up and I have hit pan on both and just want to try some more things in my stash of products. Now what would a favourites be with some Essie nail polish oh how these have taken the beauty community by storm and my current favourites are 'Absolutely Shore' and 'Figi' such pretty pastel colours. My final favourite is what I am using for my base is the MAC studio sculpt foundation in NC15, I really like this foundation as its a gel formula which had never actually used before now and I like the way it feels on my skin. I would say its quite a high coverage but can be blended easily to achieve a really lovely satin finish.

My final favourite is more of a personal one and that is that I received my official university grade for my degree yesterday and...I GOT A FIRST! Sorry for the little outburst of excitement but this is such exciting news and something that I am so proud of as I worked my ass off for the past 3 years and it finally payed off. Also it means even more to me because I had a rocky start to university as I sadly lost my mum just 2 weeks before I moved down to Cheltenham to start and that obviously is a devastating loss at the best of times but let a lone 2 weeks before your meant to start university. So yes I am very proud of myself for getting this far without her and I know she is still proud of me wherever she is.
So yes if you like this kind of post let me know and I will make it a monthly thing :)
