Summer Body in a Bottle?

Garnier Summer Body £4.77

For anybody who knows me in real life will know that I am deathly pale 90% of the year. But because I have been away (I promise I will stop banging on about this soon) I am looking pretty bronzed at the moment and when this rare occurrence does happen I do like to cling onto my tan for as long as possible. I picked this up on a little bit of a whim I think it was on offer in Tesco and my good friend told me she used it and really liked it so I have been using it for around 2 weeks now. I have a slight confession I have never used a proper fake tan because I find that they look quite obviously fake on my skin and I have a huge phobia of being orange. Now I do smell slightly like a malted milk when it has settled into my skin but when first applied it does live it up to its claim about smelling like an apricot. For the price I paid I am pretty impressed with this product now it is a gradual tanner however I apply like I would a fake tan with a mitt as I dont want orange palms. I dont find it particularly nourishing so I do use a separate moisturiser in the morning to keep my skin hydrated especially on my knee's and elbows as they are quite dry at the moment. I will probably finish this bottle and then maybe try the Palmers gradual tanner as I love cocoa butter.
Have you tried this? Let me know your thoughts!
