The Autumn Nail Polish Pick

As much as I love pastel polishes in the summer sometimes I cant wait for autumn/winter to roll around so I can wear some darker shades. So to begin we of course have a glitter top coat and my favourite is the infamous OPI Rainbow Connection which was a limited edition polish from last years Muppet collection and I love wearing this as an accent nail with a nude polish. Next up of course is a raspberry shade and what would kind of picks would it be without a shade like this. A particular favourite of mine again is a limited edition shade (sorry) and I think this was a freebie in a magazine last year? I cant be too sure but there are lots of similar shades like this on the high street. Then we have Essie Bordeaux which is quite similar to the Nails Inc shade but slightly darker and this to me is a real winter shade. 

Now we have the most neutral shades which I always tend to steer towards in the colder months for some reason. First up is another Essie shade and this is the shade 'Ladylike' and it is quite an unusual shade as it is almost grey but has a strong heather undertone which makes it fabulous in these months and I do tend to wear this with an accent nail. Next up is a new one to my collection and it is Essie's Chinchilly which is a beautiful grey shade again with a hint of purple running throughout which makes it very wearable for everyday. Finally is a slightly wild card but I do love quite a manicured look for my nails and thats when Essie Ballet Slippers comes into the mix as it the perfect manicure shade although not one if you are a lover of the opaque nail.
