Notes from a stationary obsessive #2

Yes another post dedicated about one true love above all things beauty related..stationary. Since my last post I seem to have acquired a few too many new additions to my ever growing collection of notepads. My latest addition was actually a Little Miss Sunshine notepad which was a gift from a very lovely boy. Who picked it up for me on the basis of my obsession of notepads and the fact I lay in this random patch of sun on my bed or his whenever it's warm as I clearly am a cat. If you follow me on Instagram you will have probably noticed my ever growing amount of Rifle Paper Co items. Everything about the notepads are so beautiful every last detail is considered and they always arrive so beautifully packaged too (my other weakness). I have also just discovered a new company to obsess over called Clap Clap design & stationary who are very similar to Rifle Paper Co except forget flowers these notepads are adorned with little animal designs. What kind of stationary post would this be without at least mentioning Moleskine they are still the king of stationary for me and my favourite has to be my Cath Kidston x Moleskine limited edition pad the floral lining is adorable.

As much as love the paper I also love the tools that I require to write in them and here are my two favourites. For all of my Moleskine's I only use ink pens and this is has been a habit of mine ever since I bought my first one during my university days. I received this Cath Kidston one as a Christmas gift last year and I haven't used anything else since as it has such a nice weight to it and the nib writes so smoothly. A new pen addition to my little family is this ball point from Orla Kiely which I actually found in TK Maxx for an absolute bargain. I find a lot of ball point pens can be very scratchy on the paper but this writes like a dream and the design is so pretty too. Pens might be a bit of an mature thing to collect I guess in a way but I always think your bound to keep them forever especially ones are pretty as this and they make wonderful gifts too!

What are your favourite stationary items? Let me know and if you guys have any nice post it recommendations as I can't seem to find any anywhere and I can't stand neon green/yellow or pink.
