A Killer Lash Duo

Out of all my beauty habits layering mascara is something I have always done since being a teenager. Maybe it is because I have never quite found that perfect mascara many have come close yes but none have got that holy grail status quite yet. Luckily I have naturally dark lashes that aren't particularly lacking in length but they are quite straight so I need a mascara to volumise and hold a curl and I think I have finally found them.

Before applying any mascara I always use my Shu Uemura eyelash curlers and yes ladies the hype around these is all true. By far the best lash curlers I have ever used and they are not showing any sign of wear and I have been using them daily for months now. The first mascara I use is the Clinique High Impact Curling mascara and this has a natural bristle wand that is curved. It lifts the lash as well as volumising, nothing too much on the length factor of things but it gives a fanned out effect perfectly. By far this is the most resistant mascara I have used it never flakes, runs or smudges literally nothing and it has even put to the tear test and performed admirably. To give my lashes a little more length I use the Benefit They're Real which has a plastic wand with a little spiked ball on the end. I find the wand on this gets right into the corner of my eye and getting those tiny little lashes that are always tricky to get hold of otherwise. The use of these two together give me my dream lashes so I can see this duo sticking around for a long time yet. My only issue is that they are ridiculously difficult to get off which is great for long days when my lashes need to hold up but no make up remover seems to be able to remove these two with ease, believe me I have tried and failed.
