Some Of My Favourite Budget Buys

As much as I love high end beauty it's rare that my purse strings can actually stretch that far so I'm always on the hunt for awesome budget options. Nowadays the high street really brings its A game so you can always find products that are just as good as some of those high end offerings without breaking the bank which is always good at this time of year. So here are some of favourite budget buys:

Garnier Micellar Water: Long gone are my days of scouring eBay for the cheapest price for Bioderma, yes it's a fantastic product but it's a pretty pricy option when there are awesome alternatives on the high street now. I've been using a waterproof mascara lately so I've really been putting this through its paces and it removes my make up effortlessly and never leaves me red irritated eyes.

Organic Surge Orange Blossom Body Cream*: A brand that I've really come to love is Organic Surge, seriously their Hot Cloth Cleanser* is awesome. This body cream is great during the day as it gives an intense hit of hydration without taking too long to soak in.

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation: If you've read my blog for the past 9 months or so you will know that I fell head over heels in love with this foundation. It behaves just like a high end base and it's a great option for us pale skinned girls who struggle to find a colour match on the high street. I must have spoken about this base 30 times or more in the past few months but it is such a fantastic foundation for £7.

Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm: I purchased this well over a year ago and it's not left my handbag ever since, it's become a complete staple for me. I absolutely adore Burt's Bees as a brand in general but their lip balms in particular are absolutely amazing. This provides a really lovely sheer wash of colour as well as being super hydrating on the lips.

Bourjois Java Rice Powder: Illuminating powders are something I really love all year round but especially in the winter time when your skin is in need of a pick me up. The MAC MSF in Lightscapade is one of my most used beauty items but it's quite pricy so it's nice to have an alternative for less than £10.

Maybelline Forever Strong SuperStay Nail Polish: Apart from my dream matte mousse days that I would rather put behind me I've never purchased much else from Maybelline but these nail polishes are awesome. They last really well on the nails, are opaque in two coats and have a dreamy wide brush that makes application a breeze.
