The Workout Beauty Edit

As I regularly partake in the whole keeping fit thing I'm always left with my face and pretty much every other patch of skin running in sweat. So there are a  few beauty staples that I like to keep to close by. If you too are a seriously sweaty girl here is my workout beauty edit. 

NIVEA 48 HOUR INVISIBLE DEODORANT: Day to day I tend to prefer to wear a stick deodorant. However at the gym, I prefer a spray. I don't find they mark my clothes at all when wrestling myself in or out of a sports bra. Nivea has an entire line dedicated towards dark clothes. They contain some sort of technology to not leave any white items or unsightly yellow marks either. I don't find this deodorant is quite strong enough for all day but just for a couple of hours it's perfect and it's got a great fresh scent too. 

ELIZABETH ARDEN 8 HOUR CREAM: If I'm running outdoors then a good lip balm is key. A thick layer of Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream creates an almost barrier between the wind and delicate skin. As it is so thick it lasts for hours instead of some lips balms that feel like they're gone within a matter of minutes. A quick note is that if you do use something as balmy as this is to wash the top of your water bottle properly as it can build up residue and it's pretty gross. 

GARNIER MICELLAR WATER: Even though this doesn't functional as a proper cleanser. It's great for just giving the skin a quick refresh. I don't like to leave sweat just sitting on my complexion and going back into my pores. I've found I do tend to breakout if I don't get rid of it as soon as possible. After my love affair, with the Nivea Sensitive Cleansing Water I've returned to this. I have to be honest this product from Garnier seems a little harsh on my skin now in comparison. It seems to aggravate my eyes if I've been wearing makeup which is a shame because I absolutely adored this water for a couple of years as it's so cost friendly. 

MAYBELLINE LASH SENSATIONAL MASCARA: I'm not an advocate of wearing makeup to the gym. However, if I have been wearing makeup during the day and I happen to exercise later on. I generally tend to just leave my mascara on. Not something that I like to do often but even when my face is running with sweat the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara doesn't budge. Which not only makes it a great product overall but it's perfect for those people who like to wear just a little bit of mascara when exercising. Morphing into a member of KISS is not something I want to achieve when looking after my health. 

LANOLIPS ANTIBACTERIAL HAND CREAM*: When you've been sweating and then touching machines/weights it's super important to keep your hands clean. If like me you want to get out the gym as quickly as possible. I always make sure that I've got the Lanolips Antibacterial Hand Cream* in my bag. Not only does it get rid of any germs but it adds moisture and nourishment to the hands too which are two things we all need a little bit more of in winter.
