20 Fail-Safe Ways To Get Out Of A Funk

We all get in a funk from time to time. Often or not there won't be one reason for it and our mood has just dropped it a little. But it's never fun to not feel like yourself. So here are 20 of my favourite fail-safe ways to get myself out of a serious funk. 


  1. Have a dance party. 
  2. Give yourself a pep talk and be your own cheerleader. 
  3. Do something that makes you feel awesome. 
  4. Listen to your Stevie Wonder [or anyone else who instantly puts a smile on your face]. 
  5. Switch off from the online world.
  6. Get outside if possible. 
  7. Throw yourself into something new. 
  8. Remember you are capable. 
  9. Treat yourself in whichever way you want. 
  10. Let the past go and try not to revisit it unless necessary. 
  11. Apply your favourite products. 
  12. Work on something that truly excites you. 
  13. Listen to your favourite podcast. 
  14. Do the exercise that you love and makes you feel good. 
  15. Rustle up your favourite meal. 
  16. Let it out, never underestimate the power of a good cry. 
  17. Talk to somebody who never fails to make you laugh. 
  18. Make plans for something to look forward to. 
  19. Watch your favourite show or film. 
  20. Do something just for you.
