Lipstick Love

I have a problem I buy a lipsticks and I never wear them. This isn't a fact that I can't deny I have said it so many times on here and even dedicated a post to it here. But lately I have been trying my best to actually something other than a balm on lips, granted I probably chose the wrong time of year but it's working so far.
Yes I am mentioning the Rimmel Apocolips just briefly as I love them so that is all. Then a MAC lipstick that needs no introduction is the ever famous 'Cut a Caper' when this released again last year people went crazy myself included. It's a truly pretty peachy pink shade and I like to wear this just patted onto the lips as I find this shade doesn't suit me with a completely opaque coat. A slight re-discovery is the Revlon lip butter in 'Candy Apple' and I bought this such a long time a go and never really picked it up. It's a really build-able red shade so again I just like this lightly applied as I'm not much of a fan of a glossy red lip. That being said the red shade I gravitate to in the summer in No7 'Cherry' and this the perfect classic red for me. It has a matte finish but it doesn't dry out the lip or gather and when paired with a lip liner the staying power is brilliant. Finally what kind of lipstick post would this be without a nude? My favourite is the 17 lipstick in 'Beehive' now these is held as a dupe for MAC's 'hue' but I prefer this one it is a really pretty pinky nude that doesn't make you look like a corpse. It adds a really pretty sheen to the lips with a slightly glossy finish but it is not sticky at all.

I tend to gravitate to these colours throughout the summer months and then in the cooler months I go for more deep berry shades and a much darker red lip than I would now. What shades do you go for in the summer heat?
