The 'Me' Makeup Look

I suppose you could say that this is my signature makeup look? This is the look that makes me feel like myself, whilst I don't believe you need makeup to feel like a whole person it's nice to have the option to feel a little more refined. It just adds a little more pep in my step when I apply these products.

Base: After having bad skin for years, I work hard on trying to achieve a flawless yet natural looking base. After prepping my skin properly I like to use a primer, the Clinique Super Primer is wonderful as it eliminates any redness in the skin which makes concealing blemishes so easy. Then, to conceal anything that I don't want on show I always reach for the 17 Stay Time Concealer. It has incredible coverage & hydrates the skin so well so you're not left with a cakey looking blemish. A base with medium coverage and a skin like satin finish is my go-to, I love the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation. Such a great option for day to day wear. To set everything into the place I go for a powder that will smooth over any imperfections and keep my makeup in place all day and the MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural achieves this every time.

Cheeks: There are two blush shades that just scream Rebecca. One is  a brown toned pink and slightly sculpting like the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed and Nars Douceur. I discovered both of these shades last year and they're the missing piece to my blush puzzle. They don't look like anything special in the pan, in fact, they can look pretty gross but on the cheek they're so beautiful and understated. The other is the Stila Convertible Colour in Lilium, the perfect pink on my complexion. The creamy consistency gives my skin the most beautiful glow even on it's worst days.

Eye & Lips: I don't think my eye shades need an introduction do they? Although I might break out of my comfort zone every few months in general it is a mixture of MAC's Naked Lunch Shroom swept all over my lids. It's such a pretty duo for everyday wear, it enhances my green eyes and the consistency on MAC shadows are fantastic. MAC Mystery is what I use through my brows to fill in any sparse areas which at the moment is quite the task as I'm going through that painful stage of growing them out. Lashings of my favourite budget mascara which is the MeMeMe Dark & Divine Lash*, I love big fluttery lashes. Final step is lips, day to day I just tend to reach for a tinted balm and my favourite by far is the Burt's Bees Tinted Balm in Pink Blossom
