The Beauty Detox

It's the perfect time for a big beauty detox. Now Christmas is over and done with and the New Years is on the horizon you're probably feeling the need for a big pamper and refresh. I've rounded up my favourite detoxing and deep cleansing beauty products for your perusal today.

SALLY HANSEN INSTANT CUTICLE REMOVER: We've probably all applied some sort of glitter polish haven't we? So after scrubbing that away, it's time to give your cuticles a little bit of TLC. The Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover is one of the best things I've found for getting rid of any dead and unsightly skin with ease as it  dissolves them away. So you don't need to push and pull away at the delicate skin around your nails. You only need to leave it on for a few seconds before you see a difference and it preps the nails nicely for a fresh paint job.

SOAP & GLORY NO CLOGS ALLOWED*: Whenever I've overindulged with my food the first place it shows is my skin.  A deep cleansing mask of some sort is always the best way to help restore your complexion back to some sort of normality. This mask from S&G is a self-heating deep cleanser that is a complete joy to use. Once applied to the skin, you start to feel it tingling and suddenly the wave of warmth hits. It removes impurities from the skin with ease without leaving your complexion looking angry or sore as it simply wipes away.

BUMBLE AND BUMBLE SUNDAY SHAMPOO: You've probably blow dried and tonged your hair in every which way possible over the past few weeks. Whenever I style my hair often I always find that product starts building up easily and then nothing works as well. The Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo removes all product build up and restores hair to it's light weight and bouncy state without drying it out. You only need to use this once a week or like the name suggests, every Sunday to notice a difference. Personally, I only this once as a while as I've got coloured hair and I don't want to get rid of my colour quickly.

ANTIPODES AURA MANUKA HONEY MASK: This a double whammy of a detox product. It's a clarifying mask that hydrates the skin too. As well as wanting to remove any nasty impurities from the skin you're probably wanting to give your complexion an added boost of moisture. To achieve that perfect 'lit from within glow'. This mask contains manuka honey which is a natural antibacterial to get rid off all dirt and grime without making the skin feel tight and sore as it's a thick buttery lotion.
