Your Weekend Reading, Watch & Listen List #19

I truly hope everyone is well and still saying as safe as they can be? Things in the UK certainly feel uneasy at the moment with the talk of easing lockdown restrictions. It’s hard to know what is going to happen next and what the bigger picture will be and how collectively we will find a new normal. Naturally, throughout all of this, I’m consuming so much more media at the moment and any hope of reducing my screen time has gone out of the window but this is best of what I’ve watched, listened to, and read lately!

  • My boyfriend and I have started rewatching Downton Abbey and it feels like the perfect show to binge watch at the moment.

  • As well as Parks & Recreation for more of a light hearted watch.

  • Desperate Housewives has been added to Amazon Prime and it’s a show I know that I’ve only ever properly watched all the way through once and I’ve become totally obsessed.

  • In an evening when we don’t fancy tuning into anything we need to focus on we’ve been watching old episodes of Gogglebox and they’re still hilarious.

  • YouTube wise I’ve been really enjoying people sharing what they’ve been up to in lockdown, Rhiannon Ashlee vlogs are always a good watch.

  • I was really happy to see Brittany Bathgate on my subscription feed.

  • This is a really interesting video about Rebecca Black & Friday.

  • Some Good News is a fantastic way to keep up with all the good that is going on in the world right now.

  • Alison Anderson (originally a beauty blogger) did a really interesting video on 15 things she no longer buys, there was so much I could relate to.

  • I’m really enjoying Megs blog posts about her reading Harry Potter for the first time.

  • As I’m still very conscious of becoming more sustainable this post was such a good read.

  • Another post from Anna is her psychosis update 3 years later.

  • Carrie created a beautiful post about all of the things that she is creating in lockdown.

  • Just incase you’re in the mood for some organisation inspiration this is a great post.

  • I’m so glad The High Low is back during this time, I love the relationship between Dolly and Pandora.

  • This podcast episode from A Beautiful Mess about dealing with online hate was a really good listen although very sad in parts.

happy weekend!
