Cleansers for me, are one of the more complex areas of any skincare routine. On the surface they sound pretty simple, they just cleanse your face. Wrong, there are so many formulations out there that it can be a battlefield. For years, I used a cheap face wash and wipes, they never damaged my skin but they didn't do much good either. Now I've become pretty familiar with the plethora of formulations out there, I thought I would share a run down of my favourites from each category. 

As I'm not a partaker in monthly favourites I don't get much of a chance to share my most beloved beauty products of the moment. I'm a sucker for a big roundup of yearly favourites so I thought I'd share some of the best discoveries I've made in the past 6 months. I still cannot believe that we're now halfway through 2015. Maybe I've just hibernated for the first half of the year? 

The weather is currently a blissful 30 degrees in the UK which us British residents all know is pretty rare. I'm a complete sun junkie when it does make an appearance and even though I'm militant with my SPF sometimes the worst happens and I end up looking lobster-like. Of course, this has inevitably happened in the last couple of weeks and I paid the consequences. There have been a bunch of products that have helped my skin return to it's otherwise happy albeit a lot more bronzed state and here are the details on them. They might help you if you have ended up looking more scorched than sunkissed. 

A few years ago if you'd asked me about primer I wouldn't have known what you were talking about. Fast forward to the current day they're one of my favourite beauty products. A good primer can do wonders for your base and can prolong wear time for hours on end, even in the warmest of climates. They're perfect for evening out your complexion and skin tone and are heaven sent for uneven and scarred areas.

By devoting an entire post to eye brushes, you might be thinking I'm some sort of eye makeup connoisseur. Don't be fooled, I'm a one wash wonder kind of girl with maybe something in the inner corner or even the crease if I'm really feeling adventurous. I've lost count of how many of those rubbish foam applicators I used in my teen years and it took me a long time to delve into the world of brushes. There is so much choice out there that it's difficult to filter your way through to find what is suitable for what you need. So here is a little guide to eye brushes and which ones I think are truly awesome for application.
