The Not Too Pink Pinks
Some people look fantastic in bright pink shades, I'm not one of those people. Give me a bold red or plum any day but fuschia pinks just aren't for me. Pinks still one of my favourite shades to wear though, just of a more muted variety and here are some of my most loved not too pink pinks.
For Those Of Us Who Overthink Everything
Overthinking situations was the bain of my teenage life, I would sit and waste hours just going over the same situation. After all those hours, I still wouldn't be further along and would have just worried myself into oblivion. Ever since I graduated university I've been on a long journey to try and get out of my overthinking mindset and here are a few things I've done.
Worth The Hype?
As much as I try and avoid hyped products when they're first released there is just something I can't quite resist about giving them a go myself. When you read so much on a product you're bound to want to try it yourself and see if it lives up to praise it's been given. I've got a few old rave products in this selection and a few new ones to share with you today.
Saving Money When You Love Shopping
I've spoken about my relationship with money in the past, I used to be a bonafide shopaholic and it took me a long time to realise that shopping didn't equal happiness. Living on a smaller budget for the past three years has taught me a lot of lessons. Even though I'm reformed from my emotional shopping days I do still enjoy it, I mean who doesn't love picking up a new striped Breton? Over the past couple of years, I've worked out how you can still be money savvy and still buy a few new things now and again.
Radiant, Not Sweaty
Radiant skin is something that I strive for all year round but in the warmer months it's far too easy to look sweaty rather than radiant. Whilst it's too all tempting to reach for the most glow inducing base you can find it's not the only answer to radiant skin. Over the years, I've figured out a few ways to still look glowing but not resembling someone whose been on the treadmill for hours.
The Typical British Summer Outfits
Whilst I long to live in a hot sunny country where the summers are actually warm, I don't. England over the last few years has had some beautiful summers but also a bucket load of that typical British weather we all expect. So if like me you can't help but be confused about what to wear in the next few temperamental months then keep on reading.
A Few Of My Favourite Interior Blogs
Probably my most read blogs at the moment are interior based. I'm a real sucker for homeware and DIY's and quite frankly just can't get enough. So today I thought I would share my favourites with you if like me you're completely obsessed with interiors.
When You've Fallen Off Track With Your Goals
As we are nearly half way through the year (say what?) it's always a good time to look at your goals. I'm sure we all made a bunch of goals when New Years hit and I know that I always feel super excited in January & February but then I fall off track. I think having goals and aims are so important as they can help us grow in all areas of life but keeping on track can be difficult. As I've recently tried to back on track with my own resolutions I thought I would share how I did it.
Beauty Advice I Shouldn't Have Listened To
A few weeks ago I shared the beauty advice that I was glad I listened to . Now I'm going to turn the tables and share the advice that I wish that I hadn't listened to, not that this is bad advice it just didn't work out for me.
