30 Before 30
Last weekend I turned 29, which means I’ve entered the final year of my twenties which quite frankly is a relief. The beginning of my twenties was full of anxiety and worry and even though I know that I’ll never say goodbye to those feelings entirely the fact I feel a lot more settled in who I am as a human is not something I take for granted at all. 30 feels like a huge milestone to reach as well after so many uncertainties in my younger years I know getting to that point will feel way more exciting than turning eighteen or twenty-one. And here are 30 things that I’d really like to achieve before I turn 30.

The Joy Of Getting Photographs Printed | AD
-this post is sponsored by Rosemood Atelier -
Do you know those little things that you always mean to do but never get round to actually doing? For me, that's getting my photographs printed because I have thousands on my iPhone and hundreds of thousands on my computer and even though they’re backed up. Technology can always fail us, social media platforms can be shut down and if I ever lost all my photographs I’d be devastated. So getting the opportunity to make my own photo books seemed like the perfect chance to finally get some of my most loved images all in one place. I also created one for the dogs to have a place for some of their puppy photographs and that is such a joy to flick through.

Summer Staples; From Beauty To Body
-this post contains PR samples-
The warmer weather is creeping back towards us and I am far too excited about it, not having to wear a coat and a scarf in May to walk the dogs is going to feel like such a luxury. As well as the excitement of not wearing a coat I’m also going to be able to switch around my beauty routine ever so slightly, as I’m sure like most my needs and wants are a little different when the warmer weather rolls around and these are a few of my summer staples that I’ll hopefully be using throughout the next few months.

The Things No-One Likes To Talk About When It Comes To Running Your Own Business
Running your own business is always a subject of interest online, typically how wonderful it is. And it is incredible, having the opportunity to work on my own terms and have no limit on my income is something that I feel grateful for every single day. But, just like any job, there are some serious downsides but as being your own boss and being a #girlboss is so often seen as the dream I thought I’d share some of the issues I face daily that I wish I saw spoken about more online.

5 Ways I'm Trying To Get A Better Nights Sleep
I love to sleep, I also love talking about sleep and at the moment the conversation revolves around not getting enough of the good stuff. I track my sleep using my FitBit Alta and I’ve not been getting more than 6 hours for weeks, and let me tell you, I do not cope well with so little sleep nor do I think anyone does. In reality, there is absolutely no reason why I shouldn’t be getting 7-8 hours so this is how I’m currently trying to make sure I get a really good nights sleep.

Dressing For When You're Bloated #2
Little did I know one of the most searched things that land people on this blog is a query of dressing for when you’re bloated, a post I wrote a couple of years ago and never gave much thought to doing a follow-up. But, as there isn’t a day go by that I’m not nursing a painfully bloated stomach I’ve had to learn to dress for it. And in all honesty, it’s all too tempting to just wear sweatpants but not all occasions are sweatpant friendly so this is what I reach for in those instances…

Everything I Wish I'd Known Before I Got A Dog
Did you know Josie, that leggy, pointy nosed black hound you see in the photograph above has been in my life for nearly 2 years and her little sister followed along 11 months later. The time has absolutely flown by and my life has changed an extraordinary amount since having dogs of my own, even though I lived with Bella (the westie) for 7 years being entirely responsible for a living being is so different. And there are so many things that I wish I’d known before welcoming a dog into my life as it’s certainly not as easy at the films like to make out. I know this post is a little niche but I often get lovely messages from people who are thinking about welcoming a long-legged hound into their lives so this might be handy if you're having similar thoughts.

The Shopping Diaries: March & April
Over the past couple of years, I’ve really tried to work on my spending habits, which when you’ve been a serial emotional shopper like myself isn’t always the easiest thing in the world. I often write about the things that I’m hoping to invest in clothes wise but in general, I don’t speak about the things I’ve been buying all that much. Well, that is until now and today I’m going to divulge the details on what I’ve been buying and some of the thoughts that go into my purchases.

Your Weekend Reading, Watch & Listen list #8
Happy Friday! And happy first week of May too, I was hoping that we’d welcome the month in with some warm weather but alas it looks like we’re in for a few more rainy days yet. Which means the upcoming Bank Holiday might not be as glorious as the last one so here are a few things to keep you occupied over the next few days.
