Taking Time For Yourself When You Feel Like You Have No Time
I suppose the fact that I'm writing this at 9 pm sits well with the topic of this post. After welcoming a beautiful little fur baby into our family a couple of weeks ago, as well as my boyfriend, being home for summer it might be obvious that my time has pretty strained. And even though it's a positive thing that I have no time I'm still feeling the stress of not being able to have any time to myself. I'm someone who has always been a big believer in taking even just a few minutes out of the day for yourself and here are a few ways to do that when you feel like you have no free time at all.

Hyped Blogger Products That Seriously Disappointed me
Like most beauty lovers out there I'm so quick to share the beauty products that I really love but it's rare that I give coverage to the products that didn't work for me. And for the most part, it makes sense because what's the point in wasting time writing about something that didn't work? But on the flipside, I always like to know what didn't work someone and the reasons why. We can never love everything that we come into contact with and here are the really hyped up blogger beauty products that have disappointed me over the years.

Making Winter Style Staples Work In Summer
Some people like to split their wardrobe into two - winter and summer. But that's not something I've done in years, purely just down to the fact that I don't have that many clothes and if I took everything out that I couldn't wear in each season then I wouldn't be left with that many options. So something that I decided to do a few years ago which at the time was completely unintentional but now when buying any wardrobe pieces I like to make sure it can be easily transitioned into each season. Of course, there are a few things that can't at all like pretty summer dresses or really thick heavy knits. But there are a few things that you can easily take from Winter into the Summer. Also, bear in mind that I do live in the UK and we don't have the best Summers on record.

The Creme De La Creme Of My Skincare Routine Right Now
Skincare isn't something that I've written about in a while as I haven't been using anything new really. Something that I've been making a conscious effort with is not to flit back and forth between products which is hard when there are new things coming into my life on a weekly basis. Which is the epitome of a first world problem if I ever heard one but something my skin relies on to stay balanced and calm is structure. Whilst I'm very lucky not to have incredibly sensitive skin so it can handle a certain amount of change I prefer to keep things consistent. That also allows me to really see how a product is working with my complexion as chopping and changing constantly doesn't give you the chance to see that. Anyway enough rambling, here are the standouts in my skincare routine right now;

Why I'm Not A Girl Boss & That's Ok
Back in 2014 the term Girl Boss really blew up and I'm pretty sure every female I knew felt a lot of pressure to become one. Now it's become a totally normal term for a girl who is doing well in her field and I'm all for women doing well in their careers. It's incredible that we're now in a time where for the most part women are encouraged to do that but the term Girl boss makes me feel a little flat and here's why...

6 Awesome Things To Do This Weekend
At the time of writing this, it's 5.30 and I've just woken up to the news that the UK has a hung parliament. This blog isn't a place for politics but it's such a relief to wake up and not be instantly devastated by the news. Whilst the online world hasn't always been the nicest place on the run up to this election I'm so incredibly proud to see how people have stood up and taken the chance to make a change and fought for what they believe in. Anyway, as I now won't be spending the weekend in a pit of sadness [although a coalition isn't something I want at all] it's the perfect time to think of some fun things to do. Weather dependant of course as the weather in the UK right now is a little hit and miss and a rain coat might be advisable.

7 Beauty Products That Seem To Be Never Ending
Obviously, I love beauty that's a given. And whilst products with pretty packaging and pleasure to use products are all well and good and steal my heart on a regular basis there is nothing quite as good as a product that really lasts. And of course, there are a number of factors that have to be taken into consideration when it comes to how much use you can get out of a product. But I believe there really are products out there that just seem to last forever no matter how you use them and here are some of my favourites;

So I Fell Off The Health Bandwagon & Here Is How I'm Trying To Hop Back On
After consuming way too much sugar around my birthday, it was high time that I had a good look at my diet as well as rekindle my love for fitness. Truth be told I hadn't really been feeling the whole exercise thing for a while, I'd been really unwell and that pushed me off fitness bandwagon but I know it's something that once I'm in a good groove with it I thrive. I've spoken so many times about the solace I find in fitness for my mental health and of course because it wasn't something I was doing my MH really suffered as well as the amount of sugar I was eating had a knock on effect. So here are the little things that I'm doing to get back on track that aren't life changing but like most things, it's always the small steps that make the biggest difference.

6 Products To Reach For When You Don't Want To Look Lit From Within
What I'm about to say might be surprising to some beauty lovers but it will make total sense to others. When the sun shines it's almost expected that we all want to look lit from within but it's not something I've found myself lusting after lately. And of course, I want to look healthy and exude some sort of radiance but the whole ridiculously glowing thing isn't for me this year. If you're a more oily skinned girl you might also feel this urge too as we already have our own glow so it's not wise to add any more in unless we want our makeup to just slide away from our skin. So from bases to primers here are the products that I'm going to reach for when I don't want to look so lit from within.
