There is one question that I absolutely dread being asked and that is; what are your plans for the next five years? Even just alluding to that question fills me fear as I simply do not know the answer and I can't work out whether that's a problem or not. Every single day without fail I think about the future and sometimes just the thought of it sends me into a spiral of worry that keeps me up at night. And I know this a pointless exercise because nothing is ever promised to us, we cannot guarantee the future but we all spend so much time focusing on it. So today I wanted to discuss with you the topic of ambition, hopes and dreams and whether or not it's a bad thing to not have huge Pinterest worthy dreams.

6 Things I Want To Achieve In The Rest Of 2018
Yesterday was the Summer Solstice which means we're now halfway through 2018. I'm not sure how we seemed to get here so fast when January seemingly lasted for about 4 months and now the rest of the year is passing us by at lightning speed. Why I'm Going Back To Basics With Blogging
Whether you're a blogger yourself or a reader and consumer of online content then you will have more than likely noticed such a huge change over the years and it's hard not kept swept up in it. This year I've really looked at my blog, the industry and what I want to do and it's been difficult. I recently wrote a post all about why I think blogging will always be important and I still stand by every word I wrote but something I didn't touch on was how I'm going about the whole blogging thing right now. Although this blog is part of how I make my living which is always something that I've been super upfront about, 85% of what I do with this online is completely off my own back and always comes from a place of passion. Everything I've Learned Living In A Fixer-Upper
Having now lived with my boyfriend for over a year and him having our house for now two and a half years we've certainly learned a thing or two about what it's like to have a fixer-upper. I can't deny the world of Pinterest and Instagram has certainly given me some unrealistic expectations about having a house. I think those perfect images get in everyone's head whether we like to admit it or not. We've got some really big plans of what we'd like to do with our house but those plans involve a lot of money which obviously takes some serious saving for as well as a lot of planning. So here is everything that we've learned from having a fixer upper and not having the funds to have it exactly how we'd like it to be anytime soon.
