Figuring Out Where You Fit In The Blogging World When You Don't Fit Into A Stereotype Or Niche

This is a topic that's been floating around in my brain for a while so subsequently, I've wanted to write about it. Not too long ago I realised that I'm more comfortable being in a store like Cotswold Outdoors than I am in Topshop and I get just as excited about my National Trust membership as I do about a new lipstick. So today I wanted to talk about when your interests don't always go hand in hand, you don't fit into a niche and figuring out where that leaves you in the blogging world.

The Best 'Quick, I'm Late' Products To Reach For

Let's be honest it would have been much more realistic to add a profanity into the title of this post as that's what we're all much more likely to do when we realise that we've overslept and we're late. And even though I work from home and it's near on impossible for me to be late to work there are still the rare occasions where I've not quite allocated the right amount of time and have to rush. Of course, if you are really late and have absolutely no time to spare then beauty isn't going to be on your mind. But if you do have a little bit of time then here are some of my favourites to reach for that have maximum effect with minimum effort.

The art of not giving a damn what other people think is a long and complex one. Although the older I get the easier it becomes, or maybe I'm just worrying about so much more so I'm not as focused on it? When I think about all the time I've wasted on worrying myself to the point of illness because I was obsessed with what other people were thinking I just think why did I waste my time?! A Neutral Lovers Evening Look

Now we're in Autumn it means we're fast approaching that time of year where evening occasions become more of a regular occurrence and it's prime glitter season [although there is never a bad time to apply glitter]. But I'm also sharing my new favourite way say goodbye to lashings of mascara and layers of glitter with Simple's newly released eye makeup remover.

The Best TV Shows To Get Sucked Into This A/W

Binge watching tv shows is one of my favourite activities. Apart from watching GBBO every year and occasionally watching First Dates, there isn't much live tv that I actually watch. Series, however, they're my jam and now the nights are drawing in and it's much more socially acceptable to be a homebody it's the perfect time to get seriously invested in a great show. When it comes to what I would consider a good tv show to binge watch I have a few simple rules; hour-long episodes and multiple seasons so here are the shows that meet that quota.

Creating An Awesome Skincare Routine On A Budget

When I think of skincare my next immediate thought is the price you have to pay for a great routine. Although personally, I would much rather invest in my skin rather than makeup as I can't wash away the state of my complexion. Fortunately for us, there are plenty of awesome budget brands on the market who can take great care of our complexions without the extortionate price tag.

6 Outfits To Wear When It Gets Really Cold

It's ironic that when I'm writing this post the UK seems oddly warm but at the beginning of the week we had a horrible cold snap. I wasn't prepared for it at all and as we haven't switched on our central heating just yet I woke up and could see my breath. So to say I wasn't ready for it feel so baltic is quite the understatement. When it comes to the colder seasons my already limited fashion sense is tested immensely.  As it's difficult to put together outfits that are somewhat fashionable but keep me warm which is my first priority alongside comfort of course. As I know I'm not the only one who doesn't like to be stood dithering here are some outfit ideas that are warm and well styled.
