Creating A Minimal Wardrobe & Decluttering
Every summer without fail I purge everything I own. From beauty products to shoes and even my underwear draw. I want to create a more minimal way of living, my room is full of things I don't use so it's time to see them go. Last weekend I completely purged my wardrobe, I was hoarding a lot of things that don't even fit me anymore. I plan on creating a more capsule wardrobe for myself in the upcoming months. Today I wanted to share with you how I've decluttered and started my journey to a more way of minimal living.
15 Bad Beauty Habits To Break
After writing about my post worthy good beauty habits last week, it only felt right to divulge the details on my bad ones. We all have those habits that we can't quite break and here are 15 of mine.
3 Awesome Photo Editing Apps
Discovering new photo editing apps is akin to my love for discovering a new exfoliating toner. There is a huge array available, some good, some bad and some are just really damn difficult to use. So today I'm sharing with you 3 of my favourite photo editing apps and a look at how I use them.
Introducing Emily From The Rossetto Blog
Today I'm talking to the lovely Emily from The Rossetto Blog!
An Unexpected Flawless Base
It's been a long time since I've used a makeup item so good that I felt the need to write a post on it right away. I'm comfortable in my base routine, there so many in my collection that are incredible so I never really have the urge to try more. Until recently, I've built up quite the tan. So none of my usual picks suited my bronzed complexion so I was forced to try something new. I'd been using the Claudia Louch HD Foundation* and completely loving it but that all changed when the Clinique Even Better Foundation came into my possession.
The Things That Inspire Me To Blog
Even though there is a plethora of 'advice' posts circulating the blogging world I never see much about the inspiration behind the blogs. What gives them the drive to create content? Why do they write about the topics that they do? So on and so forth. This is a topic that I've never properly covered when I've written about blogging in the past. So, I thought that I would share the inspiration behind my blog and the posts that I create.
Taking Joy From Everything
Something I think we all do without realising is take what we have for granted. I know that I do all the time. A terrible habit of mine is wishing for other things and never taking a moment to appreciate everything I do have. When we're busy living it's not often that we take a step back to joy in all the smallest of tasks. The things that become a part of everyday life and a remedial chore. From now on I really want to start taking joy from every single little thing that I do and here are some of my favourites.
6 Beauty Rediscoveries
Going through my beauty stash and rediscovering products that I used to love whilst wearing sweatpants is one of my favourite things to do. Who needs the hustle and bustle of busy town centres and beauty counters when you can do it from your own home? Whenever I have a big beauty clear out I always find a bunch of products that I used to adore and quickly add them back into my rotation so I can fall back in love with them again. During my latest cleanse I rediscovered 6 awesome beauty products so stayed tuned for the details.
Taking A Step Back & Going Offline
The internet is one of my favourite places, they're so many awesome things happening it's hard not to get sucked in. Something that is important to remember is to go offline once in a while and appreciate the real world. I'm a technology addict, I admit that but it's something I want to change. As I've made a conscience effort to be present in the real world a little more lately I wanted to share what I've been doing to break my bond with my beloved internet connection.
