The Best Night In Of Your Life
Confession time, I've not been on an evening out in over 3 years and this is something I couldn't be happier about. I'm not one for loud crowded spaces and being a non-drinker is always a topical issue. That being said I don't believe you need to go out to have a good night, some of the best nights I've ever had have been spent inside. So whether you spend the night in by yourself or with others, here are some of my favourite things for an excellent evening!
The Style & Beauty Items That Make Me Feel Like Myself
We all have those items that make you truly feel like yourself. Pulling on a familiar outfit and applying makeup that makes you feel instantly awesome is such a confidence booster. I thought today I would share the style and beauty items that always make me feel like myself, no matter what.
Getting Organised With Your Blog & Content
I've written organisation posts in the past, but I've never dedicated one entirely to blogging. As I recently got myself nearly two weeks ahead with content it was the perfect time to write a few musings on the topic. Of course, it goes without saying that not everybody wants to go down this route with their blog but I enjoy being as organised as I can be with my content. So if you to want to get a little more organised with yours then here is what I've found to work to my advantage.
My Favourite Sources Of Interior Inspiration
Apart from Googling 'Alexa Chung style' way too often my favourite thing to trawl the internet for is home inspiration. Of course, we all know that Pinterest is the mecca for all things dreamy and white, but there are plenty of other awesome places to get your interior fix and here are some of mine.
A Full Coverage Love Affair
The words 'full coverage' conjure up some not so pretty pictures in my head. During my bad skin days, I quickly learnt that some bases can make you look like you've got a plastic face. Not a desirable look if you ask me. I've got a real soft spot for full coverage foundations that perfect my skin without being too heavy. So here are my top five bases that deliver just that aesthetic.
When You Want To Eat Healthier, But You're Not Sure How
The internet is having a real moment for eating clean at the moment. With clean eating books coming out every other week, it's hard not to pay attention to it. Even though I have a reasonably good diet there are certain areas I could improve, but I find all the clean eating posts a little jarring and not at all relatable. I don't have unlimited funds to spend on 10+ superfoods every week. So if like me you want to improve on your diet but have no idea where to even start keep on reading.
The Lip Balms That Actually Work
Finding a lip balm that actually works is a surprisingly difficult task. I need something that is really going to battle dry chapped lips instead of just making them look shiny (ahem Vaseline). I've tried and tested so many all at different price points. Ranging from the really pricey to the dirt cheap. So here are the lip balms that actually do what they're meant to.
Caring For Candles & Cacti
Two of my favourite things are; candles and cacti. The two need a lot of TLC for them to flourish to their full potential. So today I'm sharing with you a small guide to caring for cacti and candles.
Skincare That Really Gives You A Glow
Something I long for maybe a little too much is glowing skin. Having a typically combination complexion you might not think I covet the extra glow but there is a difference between being radiant and being oily. I've noticed within the past few weeks even when it's not been overly warm in the UK that my skin is still incredibly radiant. My diet has been much better as of late which, of course, has played a huge role in my lit from within look as well as a certain combination of products.
